s50016467Look at the Nov 3rd blog and see this same spot.  This is the result of the winter storm that hit Monday night through last night.  The tempature this morning is below 10, windchill -5.  We started here and descended the west slope of Wolf Creek.  Incredibly beautiful is a understatement. This is probably the most breathtaking scenery we have encountered.  God is so amazingly awesome.  We descended into Pagosa Springs.  This town has grown so much since I was here last, but that was 29 years ago.  We found Restoration Fellowship and waited there until Chuck Holloway came to lead us to his place to spend a couple of days.  He fed us elk chili and we fellowshipped and praised God for the evening.  Tomorrow we will walk to Piedro and then come back to stay with Chuck one more night.  I am addding several photos so you can share the beauty, God’s gift to us.  A perfect example of His amazing grace.
